How we source prices

South African dental fees are not regulated — there is no official price list, and every practice sets its own fees. We compile indicative ranges from published South African sources: clinic price guides, dental-comparison listings and dental-tourism pricing, plus medical-scheme dental benefit information. Every figure is presented as a range and dated, never as a fixed quote.

Why ranges, not exact prices

The same treatment can cost very differently depending on the clinic, the materials, your region and how complex your case is. We show typical ranges so you know roughly what to expect — then always get a written treatment plan from your own dentist.

How we make money

This site is free. We may earn a commission if you choose a dental-cover or payment option through a link on the site, at no extra cost to you. That never changes the prices or guidance we publish.
